We gather to worship the One True God Jesus Christ.

When you visit us, you will find a place to join in worship. We will be praying, singing, giving, and hearing God’s word preached.

How to prepare:

Before you come in, make sure to pray. This should be a time of asking forgiveness and asking for direction. Finish by giving thanks for the good things God has done in your life.

Read the Bible passage ahead of time. We preach through books of the Bible so most of the time you will know the week before what text will be covered next week. This will help you follow the sermon more easily.

Decide beforehand to sing. This decision will help you when our music team’s choices and performance do not match your expectations. God is still worthy of corporate praise from his people.

Prepare a Tithe. In the Old Testament God required 10% of a persons income/harvest. In the new Testament we are encouraged to give generously to the ministry of the Word. This is an act of worship and you need to be prepared.

What to wear:

We believe you can come as you are. People in our church dress in all kinds of fashion. The pastor preaches in a button-up shirt and slacks.

However, we recognize that fashion choices have consequences and we understand that how you present yourself affects how others receive you. So if you decide to wear your swimsuit then we may ask you to change. Remember we gather here to focus on God and give Him glory, not you.

Where to go:

When you arrive you will notice parking lots on both ends of the church building. Feel free to park in either side. Handicap parking is marked by signs.

The main entrance is found in the middle of that same building. Come through the double doors and the Sanctuary will be on your left and the bathrooms on the right.

You can come in and sit in the sanctuary before the service. Don’t be scared if people are in there talking or practicing singing.

If you come for Sunday School (at 9:15am) just come into the Metal building (Fellowship hall) and we will guide you to the right spot.

When to arrive:

Service on Sunday Morning begins at 10:30am. Sunday School begins at 9:15am. Feel free to arrive 10-15 minutes early to get coffee and find your classes.

On Wednesday evening, our service starts at 6:00pm and the doors are usually open by 5:45pm.

If you happen to be late, feel free to come in but be mindful to do so quietly.

What we believe:

We believe that the Bible is God’s word.

We believe that Jesus is God’s resurrected Son and His finished work is the only thing that can save us from the wrath of God.

We believe in the Holy Spirit. That He equips believers for the work of ministry and service to the church. That He teaches us God’s way. That He comforts us. That He convicts us of wrong doing. That He lives in us.

We believe in the One True Creator God. That He loves us. That He is pursuing us. We believe our sins have separated us from Him and our continued rebellion makes us His enemies. He will judge us for our sins unless we turn to His son Jesus for forgiveness. Through Jesus we can have peace with God because the punishment due us, was placed upon Him.

We believe that there is one Church (universal) and that we are called to be a part of it locally in attendance and service.

We believe that Christians become more like Christ in community and that we should be working individually and together to become more like Christ.

For more information, please read the Baptist Faith and Message.

What should I bring:

Family and Friends. No need to explore alone.

Please bring a Bible. The Pastor uses the New American Standard Bible.

You can also download the Bible to your smartphone. (Here is one option)

You may want to bring a notebook and pen to take notes or again you can use your smartphone.

Bring a good attitude and be ready to meet some new friends and neighbors.

Family Ministries -

YOUTH

Our Church has a youth Sunday School class that is not well attended and we do not currently have an active Youth Group. We would be glad to have one but we do not believe this prevents us from leading families in worship and discipleship. Please pray about being Pioneers for this part of our church.

CHILDREN

Our Church has children’s Sunday School and Children’s church but currently we rarely have children attend. We are prepared for your kids, but we do not currently have an active children’s ministry. Would you pray about being a Pioneer in this area of our church?
